What I tried
I was diagnosed T1D a few years ago, and like most diabetics, have had ups and downs with my care diligence and requisite mental frustration. The data exists, and the phone warnings are plentiful, but having something dialed into your daily routine is difficult. The market options are quite restrictive as they liability of medical care is high. To give myself more precise control of my blood glucose at the times I need it, I decided to experiment with a different form of alert/warning. I took a programmable LED button, and spent time with Claude to prototype/iterate on an alternative glucose monitoring and alerting system.
What happened
Results were quite astounding: 71% faster correction, 24% less bg rise (40 mg/dL), 21% less time above 180 mg/dL, and 59% less Glucose AUC AI is a powerful tool in the medical space. Be cautious when doing anything related to a medical care plan, but use the tool to learn more about your situation, good questions to ask, and how to provide care for yourself where you need to. Do you know any diabetics? Do they struggle with these issues? Would they be willing to connect on it?

Super interesting. Are you using just at your desk or are you using it when you're moving around too? Or is that a future thing?
Spot on question! I started with a USB button just based on easy access. I use it in my home office and sometimes take it with me to our office, but the USB plug is admittedly a hurdle. Working on a hardware reassessment as we speak!
