Show & Tell terms

The short version

• You need to be 18 or older to take part.
• What you post is public, and you're sharing work you have the right to share.
• You keep ownership of your work. We can feature it to promote Show & Tell.
• We may use anonymized details from posts and voting in Bookmark research. Never your name without asking.
• One person, one account. No fake accounts or vote trading.
• The top 3 in each edition are invited to present live at Bamboo, once per quarter.

Who can take part

You must be 18 or older to create an account, vote, or post. By signing in, you confirm that you are.

Posting

Your post, name, bio, and links are shown publicly on the site. Only post work you're allowed to share, and leave out anything confidential, like client data or private company details.

Every post is reviewed before it goes live. We may decline or hide posts that are off-topic, misleading, promotional spam, or unkind, and we may remove posts at any time.

Your work

You keep all rights to what you post. You give us and Bamboo permission to show your post, name, and profile on this site, in the Bookmark newsletter, and on our social channels to promote Show & Tell.

If you present, the event may be photographed and recorded. You agree that we and Bamboo can share photos, video, and clips of your talk.

Research

Through the Bookmark newsletter, we research how people use AI and how creators grow and earn. We may use information from Show & Tell in that research, including details from posts (like the tools used, platform, audience size, and how people make money) and activity on the site (like what gets votes and how interest varies across topics).

We only publish combined, anonymous findings, like “most creators under 10K followers earn from services first” or “ops projects drew the most votes this quarter.” We won't publish your name, handle, post, or how you voted as part of our research without asking you first.

Voting

Everyone gets 3 votes per edition each month. Use one account, and don't create fake accounts, buy or trade votes, or use bots. If we see vote manipulation, we may remove votes or disqualify a post. The organizers have the final say on results.

Presenting

When voting closes, the top 3 posts in each edition are invited to present at Bamboo: 5 minutes to show it and 5 minutes of Q&A. You'll need to be there in person on the event date. If a presenter can't make it, we may invite the next post in line.

To give more people a turn, you can present once per calendar quarter (January–March, April–June, July–September, October–December), across both editions. After you present, you can post again when the next quarter's rounds open.

Your information

We store your email, name, profile details, votes, and email preferences. Your email and your votes aren't shown publicly. We only send you newsletters or updates you've opted into, and we don't sell your information. To delete your account, email us.

We use Fathom, a privacy-focused analytics tool, to count visits. It doesn't use cookies or track you across other sites. For the details, see our privacy policy.

Changes and contact
